My full fee is $150.00 per session. If you are unable to afford this amount, I offer a sliding scale. While I occasionally raise my fees, this is always done in consultation with you and with consideration for your circumstances.
We have agreed upon your fee. Your fee will remain consistent throughout the first year of your psychotherapy, after which, we may review it annually.
Psychotherapy is most effective when it is consistent and regular. Since we have agreed to meet on a regular basis and at a regular time, I will reserve your times for you each week. If you are unable to come to your appointments, I am available to make up the hour at a different time in the same week or in a contiguous week if we can find a time that is mutually convenient. I will also accept up to four (4) weeks’ worth of cancellations per calendar year without charge. Beyond four missed sessions, you are responsible for full payment of the appointment. Payment is due at each session, unless otherwise arranged.
You may always phone me between sessions when needed. I will return your call as soon as possible. I check messages frequently throughout the day Monday through Friday, and once on Saturdays. I do not check messages on Sundays. There is no charge for brief phone calls. Since I normally do not conduct psychotherapy sessions by phone, if more extensive time/contact is needed, we can schedule a session before your next regular appointment. If your call is urgent, do not hesitate to let me know. I will return your call at the first available moment.
I am a preferred provider with some insurance panels. If I am not on your insurance list, I can provide a statement that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of services in accordance with their policy.
